Combination plans are available at 128kbps only.
Voice calls to Others Satellite Networks are included in the Combination plans but are charged at the same rates as the Standard Voice plans.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Calls placed to PSTN / Iridium / Voicemail / Two Stage / +1 Number can be included in the voice bundles
- Calls placed from an OpenPort unit to another satellite network are billed separately and are not included in the voice bundles.
OTHER CHARGES AND OPTIONAL SERVICES:
- Early Deactivation Fee US $ 300,00
- Static Public IP Address US $ 35.00
- Dynamic Public IP Address US $ 25,00
- Upgrade from 64Kbps to 128Kbps on the '0' plan is charged at: US $ 180,00
BILLING NOTES:
- The same rates will be applied to all three phone lines for post paid calls placed from that unit based on the
- services and packages selected for that particular SIM unit.
- All Monthly fees will be billed during contract suspension
- Contract is for 3 months on all of the above price plans renewable for 1 month
- Airtime rates listed above are based on a data speed of 128Kbps.
- one-time activation fee will be applied for accounts that activate on the zero MB plan

Billing Increments:
- Voice calls are billed in 20 second increments
- IP Data calls are billed per byte and total charges are rounded up to the next highest cent each bill cycle.

 IRIDIUM OPENPORT SERVICE provides the only truly global satellite voice and data solutions on the planet.
Work or play anywhere on earth and enjoy complete coverage. This includes oceans, airways and Polar Regions.
The Iridium constellation consists of 66 low-earth orbiting (LEO), cross-linked satellites operating as a fully meshed network.
Iridium has the largest commercial satellite constellation in the world and delivers essential communications services to and from remote areas where no other form of communication is available. This is what makes the Iridium network unique.
The Iridium network provides global coverage however; Iridium complies with U.S. embargo restrictions and as such is prohibited from providing products and service to the following countries: Taliban controlled Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and Sudan. Since this is beyond Iridium’s control, each country is different and regulations may change without notice; it is best to check with the local Consulate or Customs offices for current details.
The embargoed countries where a satellite phone will work (even though we cannot guarantee service), but there (may be) issues taking an Iridium phone into these areas at customs/border patrols. These countries are: Cuba, Iran, Libya, Sudan, Angola & Yugoslavia.
You may also need special government permission to bring a satellite phone into these embargo countries. |
